call me Stixx because I play with matches, and I'll do anything to keep Lucy from burning out.

Even though Lucy doesn’t know I exist, from the moment I see her, I give her the heaven she deserves after the hell she’s been through. I cremate her abusive ex so we can meet, and when she asks me to take control, I command her body the way I do fire.

I breathe oxygen into her twisted scorched pieces, and she warms the cold empty hole I’ve borne since losing my family. We dance in the garden we grow in the ashes and, for the first time, I dare to believe life can be beautiful.
